To anyone familiar with the Keansburg, Nj area, there are serpentine like structures in the area of the amusement park (1940) right before you get to the very long pier and again at the curve in the road leading to the park area, but not in the actual park itself. These structures only appear on the 1940 map; they actually look like roller coasters. Are these structures related to oil/gas offloading? The park area does not seem to be an amusement park at that time (1940), however I know it was established in the early 1900's.
