Carlos,

Subscribing doesn't give a clearer view of the imagery.  What you see in the viewer is the same quality as the original resolution in the scans we received.  Every location will vary in both resolution and years available.  A year that may barely meet our minimum resolution reqirement in one location may be excellent in another location.  Basically, with the viewer, what you see is what you'll get and what we have.

As far as getting the clearest image possible, it's pretty simple.  As a subscriber you can download jpg images using the jpg download button or pdf button under your gallery items.  First make sure you are using the square selection tool. That's the middle button for subscribers.  Go to your location, pull up the year you are interested in.  Center your location, zoom in until the image starts to break down.  It will either have a tiled effect or start to increase in blur.  From there zoom out 1 (maybe 2) times by clicking the minus button or mouse scrool wheel.  Save your item to your gallery with the selection square (again, the middle button for subscribers).  Then you can download the image with the jpg or pdf builder buttons under the thumbnail in your gallery.  You can also download additional years from the same extent by using this same saved photo, and just choosing the additional years you would like by checking the box.

Don't get too close, it can be debtrimental to the image download if you do.  These are aerial photographs, taken at thousands of feet above the ground.  Some are much better than others, depending on the purpose of the original photo, elevation at which it was taken and equipment used. I would recommend looking through all of the years in a location, some are likely to be much better than others.  Let us know if you have any additional issues by emailing support@historicaerials.com
