Topic Title         Sharing information about abandoned bridges and roads
2021-10-04 09:56:57 martinblaise I have a Facebook page on abandoned bridges and abandoned roads. Not for any commercial use at all. Educational only. Can I point to or share a link on historic aerials? If so, how? Thanks. Marty

Yes that is possible, Marty.  When viewing the aerial of interest in the Historic Aerial Viewer click the Twitter button. This will enable you to copy the link that displays the aerial geo coordinates into your Facebook page. You can also share your Facebook content in our Forum as well. A thread on abandoned bridges and roads sounds facinating.

2021-10-04 12:08:13 martinblaise Thanks. In some cases we've found historicaerials shows a bridge and/or older alignment in early aerials. And topo maps. Will do.
2021-10-13 08:30:05 farrar78 Hey Martin, that sounds interesting! We have a project aiming to detect abandoned buildings all over the world. We are trying to gather as much information about the buildings as possible. Currently, I'm working on a property in Cyprus and there is an abandoned bridge near it. Maybe you have some information about it?
